ABOUT TONI RABINOWITZ

Dr Rabinowitz is very passionate about her work and loves helping people.

Dr. Rabinowitz attended the University of Southern California, where she earned both her Master’s degree and Ph D. in Counseling Psychology. She has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both North Carolina and California for the last 20 years. She works with individuals, couples and families with a wide range of problems, including addiction, codependency and recovery issues.

Dr. Rabinowitz also has extensive experience with couples counseling, infertility counseling and psychological screening services for couples, egg donors and surrogates. She taught group therapy and conducted therapy groups in both North Carolina and California on a range of topics. Dr. Rabinowitz also taught as an adjunct Psychology Professor for 9 years at Antioch University and was part of a private practice in Los Angeles for 20 years before relocating to Chapel Hill in 2007.

Dr. Rabinowitz is a native Californian who grew up in Los Angeles, California.

She loves spending her free time with family, reading books and hanging out at the beach. Dr. Rabinowitz would love to write a novel someday, when she has enough free time. She is very much a people person and has always, from the very beginning, loved her work. She understands and appreciates having balance in her life to enjoy work, family and free time with friends.
